CISCE ISC, ICSE Result 2023 Date and Time: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will today announce the result of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) result 2023. The result for both classes will be released at 3 pm. Students can check their results at the official websites – cisce.org or results.cisce.org.

ICSE students scored 98.94%, while 96.93% is the pass percentage for ISC students.

Girls in both Class 10 and Class 12 have outnumbered boys. While in the ICSE exams, the girls got 99.21%, and boys scored 98.71%. Similarly, in the ISC exams, girls’ pass percentage is at 98.01% while boys are at 95.96%.

The ICSE examination has been conducted in 63 written subjects of which 21 are Indian languages and 14 are foreign languages and 2 Classical languages. The ISC examination has been conducted in 47 written subjects of which 12 are Indian languages and 3 are foreign languages and 1 Classical language.

In 2023, the ICSE examinations took place from February 27 to March 29 with English Language being the first paper. The exams began at 11 am for those papers whose duration was two and two and an half hours whereas the paper began at 9 am for those papers which had a duration of three hours, with Hindi being the exception. The students were given additional fifteen minutes to read the question paper.

Meanwhile, ISC 2023 exams took place from February 13 till March 31. The exam duration was of three hours and additional fifteen minutes were given to the students to read the question paper.

ICSE Class 10, ISC 12th results 2023 declared at 3 PM today. To access the cisce.org results 2023, students will have to enter their UID and index number.

In 2022, CISCE conducted the ICSE exams in two terms. Term one was conducted from December 2021 till January 2022 and term two exams were conducted from April till May 2022 and the result was announced on July around 17 at 5 pm. Around 1 lakh students had registered for the exams. The overall pass percentage for the ICSE exams, in 2022, was 99.97 per cent. The girls had out performed the boys with the pass percentage of 99.98 per cent while the boys had a pass per centage of 99.97 per cent. For both the terms, the board had announced that it would give equal weightage to both the terms.

A forensic report has concluded that the Kurnool bus accident, which claimed 20 lives, was caused by a drunk biker, B Shiva Shankar. The biker was allegedly driving under the influence when his bike skidded on a wet road and collided with the bus, causing it to burst into flames. The police have gathered evidence and the investigation is ongoing.
