Girls have performed better than boys in the Chhattisgarh board exam 2024 in Class 10 and Class 12 exams this year.

In the CGBSE Class 10 result, as many as 19,012 students have been placed in the compartment category and in Class 12, as many as 22,232 students are in the compartment category.

Once the CGBSE result is released in the press conference, students will be able to check their scorecards at the official website – cgbse.nic.in, results.cg.nic.in and education.indianexpress.com.

The marks obtained in extracurricular activities will be calculated in deciding the final merit or not is not known. Last year, as many as 1,286 Class 10 students and 1,913 Class 12 students obtained extra marks for participating in extracurricular activities. However, those marks were not added while calculating the final percentage last year.

The board officials will announce the CGBSE Class 10, 12 results today. Last year, the Chhattisgarh Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam declared the board exam results. The CGBSE results will be announced via press conference at 12:30 pm at the CGBSE office in Raipur.

Last year, the students also earned bonus marks in CGBSE Class 10, 12 results for participating in extra-curricular activities. 

In Class 12 last year, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 79.96 per cent. Of the 3,28,121 students registering for the exam, as many as 3,23,625 students appeared and 2,58,500 students cleared the exam. 

The overall pass percentage was 75.05 per cent in Class 10 last year. The total number of registered students was 3,37,569 out of which 3,30,681 appeared for the exam. A total of 2,47,721 students cleared the exam. Out of the total students who cleared the exam, 1,09,903 students secured first division, 1,19,901 students secured second division and 17,914 students got third division.

Once released, students can check the CGBSE results at the official website - cgbse.nic.in. To check the scorecard, candidates need to click on the “Examination Results” section available on the home page, and then select “Senior Secondary Annual Examination 2024” or “Annual Examination 2024”. After that, choose your respective subject, and enter your roll number and roll code in the designated subject.

In 2023, the class 12 the pass percentage of girls was 83.64 per cent, while for boys it was 75.86 per cent. The overall pass percentage was at 79.96 per cent. 

The CCGBSE exams for class 12 were held between March 1 and March 23, and for class 10 the CGBSE exams were between  March 2 and March 23.

To check the CGBSE result 2024 online, students will be required to have their roll code and roll number.

The Chhattisgarh government used a helicopter to transport the state board exams question papers to a CGBSE exam centre located in a Naxalite-hit Sukma district in the state.

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) on May 9 will announce the class 10 and 12 results 2024. Once released, the Class 10 and 12 CGBSE 2024 results will be available on the official websites – cgbse.nic.in.  The CG Board conducted the class 12 exams from March 1 to March 23, and class 10 exams from March 2 to March 23, 2024. 

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) today (May 9) will announce Class 12 results. Once the Assam board announces the result in a press conference, it will be made available at the official AHSEC website — ahsec.assam.gov.in. A total of 273908 students appeared for the HS exam of which 242794 students have passed.The pass percentage is 88.64%.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) on May 9 announced the HSC Science and general stream result 2024. The HSC 2024 result is available on the official website, gseb.org. 

Class 12 science results recorded 82.45 overall pass percentage which is an increase from 65.58% from the previous year. Similarly, general stream recorded at pass percentage of 91.93% which is a jump from 73.27% in March 2023.

Last year, maximum students got second division. As per the data released by CGBSE, a total of 87,140 students secured first division, 1,45,965 students got second division and 25,377 students got third division

Last year, Chhattisgarh Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam had declared the board exam results. The result were announced via press conference at 12 noon at the CGBSE office in Raipur. However, this year the minister may not declare the results due to the model code of conduct which is in place due to the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Last year, CGBSE had set up a helpline for students to deal with exam stress and anxiety, as well as career counselling after results. The helpline was active from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm on the result day. The state-appointed counsellor received nearly 200 calls.

CGBSE will declared the results today at 12:30 pm in a press conference, after which the Class 10, 12 results will be uploaded at the official website – cgbse.nic.in, results.cg.nic.in.
