CBSE Class 12 compartment results 2016: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of class 12 compartment examination on August 5. The students can check the official website to check the result. The Board has conducted the examination on July 16.

The practical examination was held within three days after the theory examination was over.

Steps to check CBSE Class 12 compartment results 2016

Log on to the official website of the CBSE – cbse.nic.in

Click on the ‘Exam results’ section

The result page will open

Click on the Compartment Result-2016 for Class-XII

Enter your roll number and school number in the field provided

The result will be displayed

Check and take a print out of your result

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had earlier announced the results of class 12 examinations on May 21. A total of 1,065,179 candidates were registered for the 2016 board examinations. A notification released by the CBSE said, the pass percentage of 2016 is 83.05 per cent as compared to 82 per cent last year.

Overall pass percentage of Thiruvananthapuram region in Kerala is highest in the country with 97.61 per cent.

According to earlier reports, the CBSE results were going to be released by August 20 but the Board has released the Class 12 compartment result a little early this year.

The CBSE is responsible for conducting higher secondary and senior secondary level school examinations across the country in various schools affiliated with it. The Board also had affiliation with schools abroad. In addition to the CBSE, there are ICSE, NIOS and various state boards in the country conducting school level examinations.
