BSEB Bihar Board Result 2024 Date Confirmed: Girls score better in 10th, 12th exams – shows past trends

Bihar Board 10th 12th Result, Girls Topper: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will release the BSEB Inter exams results today (March 23) 1:30 pm. The BSEB officials will first host a press conference at the Patna headquarters, after which the score cards will be released at the official BSEB website — secondary.biharboardonline.com and results.biharboardonline.com.

In the Bihar Board, the past trends have shown that girls have usually scored better than boys, even if the topper is a male candidate, the ratio of toppers of girls has been higher than boys.

Last year, girls scored better than boys. Commerce topper Somya Sharma and Rajneesh Kumar Pathak secured 95 per cent, Science topper Ayushi Nandan, earned 94.8 per cent, and Arts/ Humanities topper Mohaddesa scored 95 per cent.

Even in 2022, the overall passing percentage was 83.39 per cent for girls and 78.04 per cent for boys. Girls also dominated the Commerce and Arts stream with a passing percentage of 93.89 per cent (88.52 per cent for boys), and 81.28 per cent (76.66 per cent for boys), respectively. In Class 10 exams too, girls dominated the top ranks.

However, all toppers of Class 12 were boys, i.e. Sangam Raj from the Arts stream, Ankit Kumar Gupta from Commerce and Saurav Kumar from the Science stream.

In 2021, too, girls had outperformed boys in all three streams. The overall pass percentage of girls was 80.57 per cent while for boys it was 75.71 per cent. In the science stream, Sonali Kumari had topped with 471 marks. Sunanda Kumari was the topper in the commerce stream, while Madhu Bharti and Kailash Kumar were from the Arts stream.
