Assam SEBA board exams begin today for Class 10, check guidelines

This year, the HS Exam will involve 2,80,216 students across 876 centers, state education minister Ranoj Pegu stated through his official X account.

The admit cards for 2024 were released by the board for all students. Admit cards were dispatched to the zones and then distributed to the respective schools, who were responsible for distributing them to the students.

The admit card will contain crucial details such as the student’s roll number, exam name and code, registration number, exam centre, and other pertinent information. This admit card will be an indispensable document for appearing in the exams, as no candidate will be permitted to write the exams without it.

• Students will be required to arrive at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
• An additional 5-minute period will be allocated before the test begins for students to review the Assam question papers. It is imperative to formulate strategies promptly and ensure a comprehensive understanding of each question before responding.
• During the examination, students will only be allowed to use blue or black ink pens. The use of pens with other coloured inks will not be permitted.
• Should any student engage in unethical strategies during the test, they will be disqualified from participating.
• Electronic devices, including calculators and cell phones, will be strictly prohibited in the examination room.

Last year, out of the 4,15,324 students who appeared in Class 10 exams, 3,01,880 students passed the exam. The board recorded an overall pass percentage of 72.69 per cent.
