(Express Photo/ Representative Image)Allahabad University PGAT 2024: The University of Allahabad has released the datesheet of the Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT) 2024 for admission to postgraduate programmes. The exam will begin on July 1 and end on July 4.
Candidates who register for the exam and will be appearing can check the exam schedule at the official website – allduniv.ac.in. Additionally, Allahabad University will conduct the exam in two shifts. The PGAT 2024 exam will held across different examinations in different modes — online and pen and paper mode.
The correction window for the application will close today, June 15 at 5 pm. Candidates will be allowed to make minor changes on the correction window such as father name, mother name, date of birth, gender, address, marital status, annual income of parents, Aadhaar card number, education qualification, ABC id, email id, phone number, hostel and pending police cases.
As per the notice, the students will be issued the admit card for all valid applicants, a week prior to the commencement of the exam.
To download the admit card, candidates need to keep their login credentials such as – date of birth and application number handy. They can access the admit card from the website – aupravesh2024.cbtexam.
While in the exam center across Bhopal, Kolkata, Patna and Thiruvananthapuram the exam will be held in online mode, the university will conduct the exam in hybrid mode i.e. online and offline mode in New Delhi, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Kanpur, and Bareilly.

The university will conduct the PGAT 2024-25 exam for a total of 300 marks. Candidates will be provided 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the exam. There is no provision for negative marking in the exam.
The PGAT 1 exam will be held for a total of 32 courses including LLB, MCom and LLM courses.
The PGAT 2 exam will be held for 24 courses, along with BEd, MEd, MBA (RD) and MBA and even include the professional courses offered by the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) – MCA, MSc food tech, MVoc media studies and PGDCA.
