Workshop on Int’l Junior Science Olympiad

The Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL) has arranged a weeklong residential workshop for 36 students across Maharashtra,to motivate students to participate in International Junior Science Olympiad.

The workshop is being conducted as part of Maharashtra Olympiad Abhiyan – Nurturing Excellence and Talent,a movement jointly run by MKCL and Indian Consortium for Educational Transformation (I-CONSENT). It aims at improving skills,competency and scientific attitude of the students and to develop the approach of innovation,creativity and curiosity amongst them.

The workshop will be held between May 17 and 22 at H V Desai College,behind Shaniwar Wada,Budhwar Peth,from 9 am to 6 pm. Yashodhan Kale,Coordinator- Nurturing Excellence and Talent Program,MKCL said that in-depth interactive sessions with students to help them understand subjects such as Biology,Physics and Chemistry from an Olympiad exam perspective would be an important aspect of the workshop,said a release.
