Teachers’ Day celebrated at Muktangan English School<\b>
5th September was celebrated enthusiastically at Muktangan English School by teachers and students alike. Class X students took on the role of teachers and administrators for a day and managed the running of the school. Playing the role of teachers made us realise the hard work and dedication that goes into the making of a teacher, said a student teacher while another commented,It was our way of expressing our appreciation and gratitude to our gurus.
The teachers,on the other hand, enjoyed a relaxed time with guest speaker Mrs Mangala Godbole,a noted Marathi writer engaging them in a thought-provoking,yet eloquent oratory on ‘Changing face of Education – past, present, future’. She spoke in glowing words about how teachers across generations have always impacted young minds. She also echoed the sentiments of those present as to how constantly working admist Gen-Next,keeps the teachers ‘young at heart’ and in sync with changing times. This was followed by the teachers themselves showing their varied talents in music, singing, poetry, notation and so on. The fun-filled afternoon saw the teachers rejuvenate and de-stress themselves to begin afresh.
