Vikram Pillay Academy,Rovers shine

Vikram Pillay Academy (B Team) and Rovers Academy (B team) notched up victories against their opponents Rovers Academy (A team) and Shiloh Sports Club in the ongoing Barclay’s Hockey League Championship on Saturday.

Rovers Academy (B team) beat Shiloh Sports Club 1-0 with Akshay Jagtap scoring the lone goal for the victors through a Penalty Stroke. However the major part of the action came in the second match between Vikram Pillay Academy (VPA) and Rovers Academy (A team) wherein VPA won a hard fought victory against the opponents on a 4-3 scoreline. VPA opened the scoring in the 10 th minute only to see the lead being nullified in the 20the minute through Sanket Jadhav who scored field goal.
