BMW for plagiarists
As children,most of us were told that cheating and copying takes you no where. It does,however,land you a free BMW. Bhushan Kumar of T-Series has gifted composer Pritam Chakraborty a BMW as a token of the ‘hard work’ the composer has invested in making music. We understand that taking ‘inspiration’ is also hard work — after all,it must be difficult to decide,given how much music there is in the world,to figure out where to take inspiration from. But in any case,we now wonder if there is any value in the old saying,‘Honesty is the best policy’.

New loyalties
This year definitely belongs to Chitrangada Singh. Apart from mentor Sudhir Mishra’s Yeh Saali Zindagi slated for an October release,Singh has added a new feather to her cap by becoming the brand ambassador of telecom major Airtel. The ad has been shot in two languages- Hindi and Tamil — and she stars opposite none other than Shah Rukh Khan in the Hindi ad. So,after having disappeared on the public a few years ago,she’s now going to be regularly beamed into our living rooms. Looks like Chitrangada is working hard at making up for lost time.

Bebo turns 30
Self-proclaimed Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor turned 30 on Tuesday amidst fever,medicines,injections and Paris. Tight shooting schedules,Munni bash and friend Tusshar Kapoor’s party did not really go down too well with her,but this did not deter her from flying to Paris to be with Saif Ali Khan who had a special evening planned out for her. Now that,ladies and gentlemen,is a woman in love. Too bad ‘Saifu’ couldn’t think of a less cliched setting for their romantic tété-a-tété.
