Uttarakhand relief: DSK School contributes

The Integrity Club of DSK School collected Rs 10,200 from students,parents,teachers and staff to be given to the victims of Uttarakhand floods.

The Integrity Club of DSK School collected Rs 10,200 from students,parents,teachers and staff to be given to the victims of Uttarakhand floods.

The money was contributed towards the Express Citizens Relief Fund on July 12.

The school held a series of events on the day. Prefects elected to the student council the previous week were sworn in. The oath was administered by DSK Education Trust president and principal Alka Agate.

The ceremony was followed by the formation of four activity clubs pertaining to integrity,literature,ecology and sports. The Eco Club stirred into action by making paper bags to curb use of plastic. They distributed their produce to nearby medical shops free of cost.

The students carried out a tree plantation drive. They also planted some paddy,as part of their study of plants.
