TVS Motor Company launched its new 2012 Apache Series RTR with an “all-new beast themed styling.” The launch was held at Amanora Mall with a rocking band performance where models launched the bike with adventurous bike stunts. The special launch event was designed for Pune,it being one of the focus markets,said an official. The 2012 Apache Series RTR boasts of a new design with all lines pulled back,all excesses eliminated and all curves chiseled to perfection,synergizing seamlessly with a high performance powertrain to look dynamic. The new design and styling has been incorporated in all TVS Apache models,including TVS Apache RTR 160,TVS Apache RTR 180 and TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS. “We have taken the Apache RTR to the next level with obsessive engineering and menacing design. The priority in every step of Apache brand’s development has been race-bred performance. Every system,detail and component has been tuned to maximize performance. Apache as a brand has been very well received,” said R Balaji,Area Manager,Maharastra,TVS Motor Company .

Synefra signs EOI with Karnataka

SYNEFRA Engineering & Construction Ltd signed an EOI with the Karnataka government at the inauguration ceremony of Global Investor Meet held at Bangalore.

The EOI was signed in presence of J R Tanti,Managing Director,Synefra E&C. Other dignitaries present at the occasion included D V Sadananda Gowda,Chief Minister of Karnataka,Veerappa Moily,Minister for Corporate Affairs,Subodh Kant Sahai,Minister for Tourism,Veerbhadra Singh,Minister for MSME,N R Narayana Murthy,Founder and Chairman Emeritus,Infosys. Tulsi Tanti,Chairman Suzlon Group,was also present on the occasion as one of the chief guests. As per the EOI,Synefra plans to offer infrastructure development services for renewable energy sector,particularly solar energy. The proposed plan is currently for 500 MW investments in Karnataka,including concept to commissioning for solar projects with advanced technology and cost effective solutions,Tanti added.

Seema Darode honoured

Pune’s renowned psychologist Dr Seema Darode has been honoured with the prestigious “Rashtriya Gaurav” Award by the former Union minister and Governor of Tamil N adu and Assam Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh. Also present on the dais were Dr G V G Krishnamurthy,former Chief Election Commissioner,Major Ved Prakash,Member AICC,Sardar Joginder Singh,former Director CBI and others at a seminar organized by India International Friendship Society recently in New Delhi.
