Toppers share trade secrets

Trupti Deshpande of Ahilyadevi High School (AHS) for girls,like most toppers,believes the key to success is time management. “I used to study from the very start. I divided my time so that I don’t lose out on anything. I think the most important thing is you should never compare yourself with anyone because that leads to negativity,” said Trupti,who scored 98.73 per cent in SSC. Her school has a success rate of 99.74 per cent and 35 students scored above 90 per cent marks. New English Medium Secondary School and DES Secondary School had a 100 per cent success rate,with all the students passing the exa. The top scores were 94.36 and 94.55 per cent. Abhinav English Medium School in Ambegaon also had a 100 per cent success rate,and for the 10th year in a row. The top score was 96 per cent. Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium School too had a 100 per cent success and 94.73 per cent.

Nihar Patwardhan of DES secondary school gave an unexpected answer when asked about his success. “I am moody. Unless I am in mood to study,I don’t. I never study with a time table but whenever I do study,I give my 100 per cent,” said Nihar who is aiming for IIT.

New English School Ramanbaug and New English School Tilak Road registered 94 per cent and 92.76 success rates with their toppers scoring 95.45 per cent and 96.55 per cent. Laxmanrao Apte School had 14 students above 90%. “I want to be a doctor. I will continue junior college here itself,” said Suraj Baravakar who scored 97.27 per cent. ens
