Thunderkatz edge past Pune Police

Thunderkatz came from behind to win 2-1 against a gritty Pune Police team in the Super Division league match of the Peninsula Land PDFA League being held at the SP College ground on Thursday.

Pune Police started the match brightly with midfielder Xavier Bernard scoring for them in the sixth minute of the game. They took a lot of confidence from this goal and were dominating possession. They created a number of chances to score but missed all of them. Thunderkatz found it difficult to keep possession of the ball and welcomed the halftime whistle. The half ended 1-0 in favour of the policemen. Thunderkatz were in total control of the game in th second half and did not allow the opposition to get back in it and the match ended 2-1.
