In the build up to the 23rd Pune Festival,the programmes Ugavte Taare-3 and Indradhanu were held at the Lokmanya Tilak Hall at Kesariwada on August 28. Aimed at providing a platform for children and youngsters to showcase their talent,the programmes were conducted in two parts. Ugavte Taare-3 saw children in the age group of 7-15 regaling audiences,while Indradhanu had 15-21-year-olds lighting up the stage with their performances. Over 300 children and youngsters showcased various dance styles like Odissi,Bharatnatyam,Kathak and western dances. They also presented pieces on folk music,classical music and devotional songs.
