Anniversary celebrations at Punjab Grill were made even more special with chef Gurpreet Singh’s special anniversary menu. The Hopps to Barbeque menu features a spread of chargrilled kebabs such as Rosemary rubbed tandoori lamb chops,Nalli ka burrah,Sesame crusted paneer tikka with mango glaze,Tandoori khumb and much more. The special menu will be on offer at the Phoenix Market City branch until June 9.
Bow wow
Dog Lovers Association organised a one-day agility training camp on this Sunday morning. The event was conducted by Neeta Godambe,a certified canine trainer. The event took place at the dog park near Nana Nani park and saw 90 dogs participating in the camp. The camp aimed at increasing mental stimulation of the dog and creating a bond between the pet and the owner. The park was arranged with various agility training equipment which included tunnels,jumping bars,jumping tyres and more. Dogs above eight months were eligible for the agility session.
Art reconnected
Kalidas Deshpande started making portraits in his school days. He used to make pencil portraits of popular personalities in those days and his portraits of Stalin and John F Kennedy were appreciated by everyone. His family sketches and portraits of a number of celebrities later,Deshpande became a professor and started working with watercolour landscapes. He used to carry all his painting gear like colours and brushes,papers and wooden stand,wherever he went. Now that he is retired,his day starts with colours and ends with more colours. Now in his latest exhibition titled Back in the light,Deshpande has reconnected with his roots. His exhibition is on at Grubshup on Law college road till May 20.
