Table admissions for bi-focal courses begin today

The Table admissions for around 5,950 bi-focal seats in junior colleges across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad will start at Lady Ramabai Hall of SP College from Tuesday.

The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) authorities have asked students to note down their merit numbers as per the updated list before coming for the admission rounds that will be on till

June 30.

On Monday,the authorities displayed the final merit list after hearing objections on provisional merit list from students. This year,the authorities received as many as 5,828 admission forms for the bi-focal courses.

A separate admission round for special category students will be conducted on Tuesday. If this category students do not turn up for the admission round,their claim of special category will stand cancelled. Such candidates will be considered in general category for the admissions, said Deputy District Vocational Educational Officer Dheeraj Nevase.
