Mixed Emotions and System Failure – the DJ duo from Israel are all set to burn the city’s dance floor today. They will take over the console at Stone Water Grill,Koregaon Park,to give revellers a taste of their psychedelic music. In the music industry,creativity is as important as one’s passion and hard work. We have to sit in the studio,day after day,till you get the perfect mix and blend of music that leaves an impact and makes you want to hear more of it, says Nati Asraf aka System Failure. A million dollar high-tech state-of-the-art studio is always a big help though, adds Or Kopel aka Mixed Emotions.

Asraf and Kopel ventured into the world of trance with solo projects and came together to collaborate for the track titled Controllers . The connection between Asraf and me was so great. The energy in the studio while we worked together was just right. While working on that project,we both decided to take our partnership to the next level and focus fully on ‘Faders’, says Kopel.

Project Faders was established in 2008 and focuses on creative dance floor music which is quite influenced by trance. Psychedelic trance got a hold of us since we were kids. We grew up listening,dancing,partying and chilling with that kind of music. Creating psytrance music always makes us happy and fills us with positive energy, says Asraf.

The duo has entertained party-goers in Japan,Brazil,Mexico,Israel,Portugal,Greece,Germany,and Russia. Their signature style of music features dominant bass lines,stable grooves and sophisticated melodies. There is always great excitement before hitting a new place. This is our first performance in India and we are looking forward to experience what we have only imagined all this while, says Kopel. Interested in the cultural differences between south Israel and India,the Faders believe that the music scene in India is still more back-to-the-roots.

Having released their music with international labels like Crystal Matrix,Utopia Records,Sirius Records and others,the duo has a lot on their to-do lists at the moment. We are working on collaborations with top artists like Sesto Sento,Vibe Tribe and Bizzare Contact. Our next full studio album,as a follow up to our previous album titled ‘Feelings’ which was released in 2010,is also in the pipeline, reveals Kopel.
