Sumo team wins inter-plastic

In an interesting match,Sumo team won the Inter-Plastic Industries Cricket Tournament and also Late Pravin Mehta and late Dilip Jain trophy.

In an interesting match,Sumo team won the Inter-Plastic Industries Cricket Tournament and also Late Pravin Mehta and late Dilip Jain trophy. The event was organised by Polymer Youth Forum at Tata Motors ground,Bhosari.

The main six teams who participated were Sumo,Armour,Ranger,Castle,Sprint and Mark. Executive director of Windsor Machine Limited R R Nagrajan presided as chief guest for the award distribution ceremony held at Hotel Kalasagar,Kasarwadi. The other dignitaries present for the event were national head of Windsor company D Venu,Hemant Mehta of Rupal Plastic,Rajeev Joshi of Prima Paper and Plastic,Arun Kumbhojkar ex-president-Plastic Manufacturing Association,Madhukar Babar,president of Pimpri-Chinchwad Plastic Association,Gopal Rathi,executive member of Maharashtra Plastic Association,Polymer Youth Forum’s Ashwin Garg and Sameer Kothari. The sports event was sponsored by Windsor Company.

Armour club made 118 run at the lost of eight wickets in the 20 overs match. Sumo team achieved this target in just 18 overs and at the lost of four wickets. Bipin Singhi made 47 runs for the winning team. He won the man of match award as well as the man of series award. Piyush Dasani supported him with a valuable contribution of 30 runs. Pratik Doshi of Armour team made 17 runs while Sameer Kothari and Shridhar Barot scored 16 runs each.

The event was organised by the members of Polymer Youth Forum. These include Amit Mehta,Ashwin Garg,Chirag Jain,Kamlesh Modi,Karan Mehta,Nitin Gattanni,Nitin Kondhalkar,Pankaj Garg,Pankaj Bacchawat,Pankaj Mehta,Rohit Vora,Samir Kothari and Yogesh Babar.
