The last few years have witnessed a sudden rise in designer boutiques,multi-designer stores and designer brands at malls in Pune. Studio Rudraksh in Aundh has gone a step further to better the shopping experience with the inclusion of the Style Concierge a professional stylist who will prepare an easy shopping list for a customer.
Racks of chic,trendy outfits meet the eye while entering the elegant multi-designer store nestled at Anand Park. From Malini Ramani to Wendell Rodricks,Neeta Lulla to Tarun Tahiliani,the names only get better as you browse through. And now,with our new concept,our clients will be even better informed about each designer and what outfit will suit them better, says owner Rasika Wakalkar. The studio has recently tied up with stylists from Mumbai to come down to Pune on fixed days and as and when requested by clients here. The style concierge will sit down with the clients and give them advice about what kinds of clothes to buy,what trends would suit them and what outfits would enhance their wardrobe, says Wakalkar.
And while the concierge guides clients through the designer labels and accessories available inside the store,the service will also extend to shopping from other stores in Pune. The city sees so many expats coming in. Some are curious about local culture,while others want to know about fashion of the city. This is another area where our stylist can help,by giving information about nearby boutiques and guiding them through shopping , Wakalkar adds.
There are no free lunches though. The styling service comes at an additional price,but it varies from client to client,depending on what exactly they need, Wakalkar says. And to add a little twang to the experience,Rudraksh has also introduced the store within a store concept. We have asked some of our designers,like Abhishek Khanna and Ella to specially make clothes that are within Rs 10,000, says Wakalkar. There are so many shoppers who want to buy designer wear but may not be able to afford the high prices. This section will cater to these buyers. And with the style concierge around,picking out the best would only be too easy.
