Clifford Pereira,lead guitarist of the band and one of the founding members of the band says,“The band basically comprises of musicians who have been playing for over 25 years. Since we all knew each other and had played at gigs together,we decided to come together to form the band.”

While the band might have had recent origins,the music they play is deep rooted in the 60’s and 70’s. “Since the band is comprised of four members who have varied musical influences,our music style too is diverse in its own way. Right from playing retro stuff like Rock n’ Roll to pop numbers,we play them all. Jazz,Rock,Blues,are other genres that we concentrate on.”

Playing for the first time in the city together,the members of the Mumbai-based band comprise of Clifton Rodricks on the Keyboards and backing vocals,Ian Concessio on the Trombone and Debie Concessio on the Vocals,have a unified opinion about their gigs in the city. “The crowds here are more culturally sound,while those in Mumbai are exposed to wider genres of music. However one thing that does work in favour of Pune is the fact that crowds here are not afraid to unwind,and cut loose and are definitely more receptive to anyone and everyone,” he maintains.

The band will be performing at the Ishanya mall on Sunday in the afternoon at 1 pm as a part of their From Noon to Sundown festival. The band will be performing there along with Amar Sukhi who will be the guest saxophonist and city- based rapper Sourabh Sen. On the numbers that they will be playing Pereira says,“While we will be playing a lot of retro stuff,we will also be performing a select number of originals for the crowds here. A lot of the stuff on stage will be improvised for,on the spot according to the demands of audiences present there.”
