We now use fifth Generation German Dry-Cleaning Systems for Suits,Woolens,Sarees & Ladies Garments,and Automated Ironing Systems for Shirts,Trousers & Sarees and Imported Laundry Detergents for High quality stain free washing, says Manoj Kakkar. As a part of their 50 year celebrations,they also offered a 10 per cent discount on all services from July 6 to 14 on all receipts over Rs 100 at their Bajirao Road,Tilak Road,Karve Road,Sahakar Nagar,Phadke Haud,Gokhale Nagar,Aundh,Wanowrie and Bibwewadi branches.
What a shot!
A film cinematographed by Avinash Arun,a student of the Film and Television Institute of India,has wonhim an entry to an international competition. Directed by Andrea Iannetta,an Italian,the film,The Light and Her Shadows is the story of an American painter,Julia and an Indian girl,Avantika. The two develop an intimate friendship based on shared difficulties of being a woman. “It was a delicate topic and required a tender approach towards the subject. I tried to use lights that were soft and magical,” says Arun. The competition,called the Kodak Film School Competition is a contest that recognises talent from across the globe and focusses on cinematography and the minimal usage of resources innovatively so that it blends with the storyline. Having spent his childhood in Konkan,Arun feels that the natural surroundings there played a big role in shaping his career.
