Classical Twist

Saiya Nikas Gayei,a classical music programme was organised on October 7 at the Manohar Mangal Karyalaya by Ganvardhan. The programme saw performances by Aarati Thakur,Manik Bhide both are disciples of Prabha Atre and Arvind Thatte. The programme also saw performances by Sampada Mandake. They performed Bandishes like Thumari,Dadara,Hori,Kajari and other traditional and new Bandishes. Thakur,Mandake and Bhide were accompanied by Suyog Kundalkar on Harmonium and Nikhil Phatak on Tabla. Madhuri Dongare was the chief guest for the programme
