Character-wise
Swatantra theatre is conducting an acting/theatre workshop cum training programme with modules like basic to advanced level of training in acting. With theatre taking a new dimension to impart the education. They will focus on all kinds of exposure,which can hone your personal ability through facial display and different caricature you try to live in different characters. The workshop will groom students through all modes of conventional acting teaching as well as self-built method,voice modulation body language acting skills method acting imaginative acting and so on. The assignments will include characterisation,dialogue writing (on the basis of a theme) and actors qualities. The three months programme will be conducted at Shree Mahavir Jain Vidhyalya next to BMCC.

Joyride
Bringing the lanes and by-lanes of City of Joy,artist Dilip Chowdhary,takes one for a joyride of the culturally rich Kolkata through his paintings. A 10-day exhibition,from January 3 to 12,of his paintings has been organised at Ray Art gallery. The exhibition was inaugurates at the hands of Capt Deepak Shastri,airport director,Pune Airport. The paintings include glimpses of old city with hand-pulled rickshaw and market areas being presented in myriads of shades.
