In a modest attempt to help the underprivileged,Lion’s Club of Pune had organised a special screening of the movie Acid Factory. The premier show,which was held at E-Square on Saturday evening,witnessed the presence of a host of personalities associated with the film. Actors Aftab Shivdasani,Dino Morea,director Suparn Verma,producer Sanjay Gupta and singer Aanchal had come to support the cause. Former Miss Afghanistan and actor Vida Samadzai was also present. While commenting on the show,Dino and Aftab said that the cause behind the event made the film more special to them.

The city bore witness to the launch of a spanking new fashion and lifestyle chain outlet this weekend. Store One held the inaugural event,for its maiden store,at ICC towers this Saturday. The evening saw a fashion show,which had models showcasing the work of famous designers and brands like Ritu Kumar,Manoviraj Khosla,S. Oliver and Fightercock. Monisha Bajaj,the creative consultant for Store One,who also happens to be a celebrated fashion designer in her own right,styled Bollywood hotshot Rahul Dev with one of the looks of Store One. Dev was a special guest at the event. Bajaj is responsible for creating a perfect mix of merchandise and brand identity through her design sense. Store One will be open for Puneites from October 14.
