Nitish Bharadwaj,who is making his directorial debut with Pitruroon releasing in October visited popular Ganesh mandals in Pune such as Tambadi Jogeshwari,Shrimant Dagadusheth Halwai and Natu Baug,along with actors Purvi Bhave and Ketaki Vilas,to promote the film. Pitruroon is based on a novel by Sudha Murthy and has Sachin Khedekar and Tanuja playing the lead roles. In this movie,Khedekar plays his careers first double role.

Veteran playwright Ratnakar Matkaris National Award-winning film Investment is set to hit theatres across Maharashtra on September 20. The film is 75-year-old Matkaris debut directorial venture. Featuring Tushar Dalvi and Supriya Vinod in lead roles,the film explores how important it has become for people to earn money,regardless of the source and means. Investment depicts this decaying society in the most poignant manner. Actors Sulabha Deshpande,Sanjay Mone,Milind Phatak,Deepak Karanjikar and Kumar Praharsh Naik essay supporting roles in the film.
