Rain eludes Pune but neighbours get decent fall

The city recorded no rain on Saturday though the weather was cloudy throughout the day.

Officers at the Indian Metereological Department said although there were scattered drizzles in parts of the city,there was no rain at the weather stations. So,the rainfall pattern was not traceable.

However,Mumbai saw a heavy spell by recording 48 mm. Dhanau (which is on the Gujarat border) saw 18 mm rainfall,Lohegaon had 6 mm rainfall,Mahableshwar recorded 18 mm,Nagpur recorded 18 mm while Ahmednagar recorded 3 mm.
