While raising the issues of his constituency Shivajinagar in the assembly, Shirole also touched upon some important issues concerning Maharashtra. His approach to putting solutions forward while sharing concerns was one of the most important reasons behind getting him this prestigious award. President Draupadi Murmu presented MLA Siddharth Shirole with the ‘outstanding speech’ award on Tuesday. Shirole was selected for the award for the year 2021-22 on behalf of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Board.
Governor of Maharashtra C.P. Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rahul Narvekar, Legislative Council Deputy Speaker Dr Neelam Gorhe, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Chandrakant Patil, Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal and Leader of Opposition Ambadas Danve were present on the occasion, stated a release.
