PCMC demolition drive to begin soon

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will begin its demolition drive in four-five days. Municipal Commissioner Shrikar Pardeshi said they would demolish as many as 500 illegal structures that have come up after March 31,2012. “We have urged police to provide necessary security,” he said. PCMC decided to go ahead with the drive after Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar gave a nod on Saturday.
