Pune-based director Mithunchandra Chaudhari’s film Compulsory Hellmate was selected for the 42nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) held in Panji,Goa recently. The film talks about the repressive powers of Indian society through comedy. Compulsory Hellmate, was the only Marathi film among the 21 selected. Chaudhari plans to send the film to other film festivals,he says,” I am happy with the response the movie has received from the audience. They easily understood the message I wanted to convey. From here the film will go to other prominent film festivals.”
