Madhavi Joshi is ready with her second solo exhibition,to be held at Meenaxi Art Gallery from September 15-18. The exhibition explores modern perspectives on portraits of women. Though Joshi is an electrical engineer by qualification and a beautician by profession,her passion lies in expressing her imagination on the canvas through paints.
Music and Munchies
The Big Bottomless Brunch at Olive Bistro features a scrumptious spread of delicious treats. The brunch offers Live Fritto Misto,which includes Falafel,batter-fried onion rings,crumbed chicken tenders and eggs Benedict or Florentine with a choice of bacon or spinach on a toasted English muffin. The dessert section offers banoffee pie to chocolate truffle and nougatine gateaux,white chocolate and berry mouse and dark chocolate fondue among others.
Age No Bar
City-based theatre professionals Rustom Irani and Pranay Mehta have got together to launch Abhinay The Actors Hub,an acting institute in Pune. The institute will groom aspiring actors in the age group of six and 60. Irani,whose experience as a director and actor spans over 30 years,has acted in films such as Gandhi My Father and Dhol. He recently directed,acted and produced the silent play I’m not Chaplin and Naughty at 40. He will conduct a free demo class on September 22 at Naach Dance Cafe,DP Road,Aundh.
