Models Connect

City colleges will be buzzing with activity for three days,starting today. The Bausch + Lomb iconnect -City Model Hunt will be held at Ness Wadia College of Commerce,Nowrosjee Wadia College for Arts and Science and Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology. Students can walk into the colleges,get photographs taken with and without spectacles and uploaded on the Bausch + Lomb Facebook page. Participants will be given on-the-spot makeovers before getting their photographs taken. The winner will be the one who receives the most ‘likes’ on the competition’s Facebook page. The city winner will be announced at the end of this month.

On The Floor

Electro rock band Shai’r + Func is all set to make the city groove on Friday at High Spirits,Koregaon Park,at 9 pm. Popularly known as S+F,this band was formed in 2007 and gained recognition as VHI’s Top Emerging Artists of 2007 and the Best Independent Artists of 2008. The outfit’s music includes a heavy dose of experimentation within the popular genres of dance,electronic and rock music. So,get ready to start the weekend with some explosive music.
