Merit list for Class XI bi-focal

Centralised Admission Process (CAP) authorities will announce the merit list for around 5,950 seats for bi-focal courses in junior colleges in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad

Centralised Admission Process (CAP) authorities will announce the merit list for around 5,950 seats for bi-focal courses in junior colleges in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad at 2 pm on Saturday.

Deputy Director of Education (Pune region) Suman Shinde said that the list,which will be made available on http://www.dydepune.com ,will also be displayed at Abasaheb Garware College,Fergusson College,S P College,Wadia College and Mhalsakant Vidyalaya and Junior College,Akurdi.

The hearing on any objections to the bi-focal merit list is scheduled for June 23 between 11 am and 4 pm at these colleges.

The final merit list would be displayed at these colleges on June 24.

The admission for bi-focal courses is scheduled between June 25 and June 30 at Lady Ramabai Hall of SP College.

By Thursday,the last date for acceptance of Class XI admission forms,CAP authorities received as many as 5,828 admission forms for bi-focal courses.

The major chunk of seats for bi-focal courses go unclaimed every year as students prefer doing these courses from selected colleges.

Centralised Admission Process authorities have received 63,730 applications for admission to junior colleges this year. In keeping with the trend,the highest number is for science,followed by commerce and arts.

Admission to these courses will begin after the process ends for bi-focal courses.
