Annual day celebration
The pre-primary section of the Chaitanya English medium school recently celebrated the annual gathering with the chief guest Dr Balasaheb Adhav. During the cultural programme,the tiny tots presented their dances and skits woven around the theme- environmental protection with great enthusiasm and zeal.

Sikh film festival
Celebrating the spirit oif the community and giving out a message of peace,Sikh Film Festival is being organised by Sikh Sangat of Pune on January 17 from 5 pm to 8 pm and January 26 from 12 noon to 3 pm at Ambedkar Sanskritik Bhavan. The festival will showcase short stories and international videos covering various aspects of Sikh way of life. It will also include a stage play by children highlighting the importance of Shabad Guru. There will also be a live Gatka Preformance (Sikh martial art) by the children on stage. The films include — Sikhs in army,Marrying a turban,Reasons,Ik dard bhari dastaan,For a Sikh,maawan,Tu prabhu data and many more. “They cover various subjects of Sikh Philosophy like importance of women’s,education,martial tradition of Sikhs,spirituality and so on,” says Rajvant Singh of Sikh Sangat.
