Art lovers can now look forward to a ceramic extravaganza, as the Pune Potters’ Market 2023 will return with its third edition this year. Organised by Indranil Garai’s IGA Galleria, this Pottery Fest will take place across two weekends, from October 20 to 22 and from October 27 to 29, at The Pavillion Mall on Senapati Bapat Road.

Entry to the Pune Potters’ Market 2023 is free. Enthusiasts can visit this ceramic art fiesta from 11 am to 9 pm on both weekends. Compared to the previous editions, it will offer a more extensive palate of artists who are studio potters and specialised in handmade ceramics.

A total of 48 artists, 24 each on both weekends, will display an array of artwork in utility pottery, ceramic sculptures, murals, jewellery and artefacts. Spread across the country, artists hailing from Pune, Mumbai, Raigad, Mehsana, Bengaluru, Goa, Kolkata, and Ahmednagar will showcase their studio ceramic practice in the Pune Potters’ Market 2023, an official statement issued Monday said.

As pottery is one of the oldest and most enduring art forms, Pune Potters’ Market 2023 will also host interactive pottery painting workshops suitable for all ages.
