It is time for mango lovers to enjoy the fruit in a different way. O Hotel is celebrating a mango food festival,keeping in my mind of its guests taste. Starting with mocktail and desert,every item to be served will contain mangos even with chicken,Mutton and vegetables. In vegetables,the mangos will be served with items like Aalu Tikki,Paneer Masala,Mango Gravy or Mango Chatni,and so on. For non-vegetarians,the mangos will be served with chicken and mutton mango with cheese rice,Ambala special with masala combination. Also light music for the music lovers has been arranged,begins at 8.30 pm till the end. The costs of the dishes start from Rs.175 to Rs.425.
Delicious Wednesday
To encompass the wonder of South-East Asian cuisine,the Westin Pune Koregaon Park has launched a food festival on April 7- South East Asian Delight,will be happening on every Wednesday nights with the dishes of Thai,Chinese,Vietnamese,Malaysian,Singaporean,Indonesian,Japanese and Korean. The food arena will house three live stalls Thai,Japanese and Vietnamese,serving a host of delicacies and lip smacking culinary delights,will be served hot. The guest can start off their meal with the tangy Thai salad and mouth-watering house made Korean Kimchi. People can also try out some Chinese,bite into exotic dim sums and sea-food enthusiasts can make way for the exquisite Malaysian butter prawn,sambals,sushi and tempura. At last,the Indonesian Rendang will be served,fitting end to the grand meal. Also the guest can taste the delicious Asian sweet dish spread,because without it the feast remains incomplete.
Celebrating anniversary
Chokhi Dhani is celebrating Rajasthan Fair and Festival on its fourth anniversary of two month long festivity,started on April 8 and will end on June 6. Rajasthans cuisine is always the most-talked about feature. Sangri,the village dining hall will dish-out sumptuous,authentic vegetarian Rajasthani cuisine,served on a leaf platter,in the tradition of Manuhar with a variety of 22 items in each thali. There will be a welcome drink counter,which will serve chhaas jaljeera. Visitors can also enjoy the live authentic dance and music performances with Rajasthani folk performers. Traditional entertainment will come in the form of terataal,algoja,kacchi ghodi,bhopa bhopi,and bhapan. For kids,the highlights will be the magician,a tight-rope walker,puppet show,animal rides (bullock-cart,horse-cart & camel rides),kids toy train. The festival opens at 5 pm and closes 11 pm.
Crunching feast
Casonova,a family restaurant,has recently started a food festival named Candy Crunches on April 12. This lunch food festival has some delicious items for its guests. For vegetarians and non-vegetarians,the meal begins with two starters,one soup and salad,two main courses with free desert. Interestingly,it is offering a compulsory hard drink like Bacardi with Cocktail or Foster small. The festival timing is 12 pm to 3 pm on Monday to Saturday and it costs Rs.399 per head.
Desi chaska
Le kebabiere,a complete Indian food restaurant,invites the guests to rediscover the Indian cuisines by having lunch on April 17. The authentic earthy recipes will be painted in handcrafted modern strokes. The programme will begin at 12.30 pm.
