A holistic experience
India is known as the land of holy destinations. In the earlier days, the ashrams were known for their simple food and the traditional Vedic methods of cooking. But in today’s fast-paced world,it is hardly possible to devote that much time and energy into cooking. But to give its guests a taste of that unique food, the Westin has launched a culinary festival at Kangan. During this gastronomic feast, guests can taste dishes that are served in temples. The cuisines that will be served are inspired from the kitchens of Shirdi,Varanasi,Golden temple and Sabrimala. The pure veg fest will tickle the tastebuds of Puneris with dishes like Dum Aloo Benarasi,Gatte ki subzi,Sabudana khichdi and desserts like payasam, besan ladoo and more. To add to this,Girish Baria, spa and recreational manager, will suggest suitable diets for diners, depending on their individual body needs. The festival will go on till February 6.
