The lecture will be delivered by Lov Verma,Secretary,Department of AIDS Control,Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,New Delhi,on July 13 at SM Joshi Foundation Hall. Newcastle B school announces scholarships
Newcastle University Business School has announced MBA scholarships for Indian students. A number of Global Leader Scholarships have been launched to support the best students in India by offering them tuition fee rebates of £2,500 for a full-time MBA programme at a Russell group university. Alongside the unique scholarship opportunity,the business schools MBA programme has been redesigned to address developments in the business world and the latest academic research. 154 schoolgirls bag Lila Poonawalla scholarships
As many as 154 schoolgirls from seven schools in Pune bagged Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) scholarships this year.The schoolgirls selected under the LPF school project 2morrow 2gether are not only supported financially for their fees,uniforms,shoes,books etc,but are also given health education,counselling,extra coaching etc. LPF will support these girls from Class 7 to graduation.
Minority Affairs Minister visits Azam campus
Union Minority Affairs Minister K Rehman Khan visited Azam campus on Monday. Addressing the gathering,he said people should scrap old mindsets and opt for positive things to progress in life. Khan visited various computer-related sections of the campus and appreciated the efforts to include modern methods in education.He was welcomed by P A Inamdar,president,Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society.
