My last memorable meal was a few months ago at Bukhara,ITC Maurya,New Delhi. I really treasure that meal since I had gone home to Delhi after a long spell. After a very hectic schedule in Mumbai,it was great to be back with my family and friends.
Since Bukhara is famous for its North-West Frontier cuisine, which is my favourite,we ended up going here. The ambience was decidedly rugged and you could even watch your meal being prepared through the open kitchen; a visual treat not to be missed. Everyone laughed and chatted loudly,we became the bane of the restaurant and the envy of others present at the venue. It was like being back on the last bench of the history extra class.
I binged completely on the famous dal bukhara and later some gulab jamun. It was a simply delicious affair. Everyone loosened their belts a hole. The bill nearly cost me a solitaire but with friends (who bring lovely times and memories back) who cares about that!
