Jayant Inamdar structural engineers society president

Jayant Inamdar,director of Strudcom Consultants,has been unanimously elected president of the Pune chapter of Indian Society of Structural Engineers.

Jayant Inamdar,director of Strudcom Consultants,has been unanimously elected president of the Pune chapter of Indian Society of Structural Engineers (ISSE).

GA Bhilare and Arun Gokhale have been elected secretary and treasurer of the Pune Chapter of ISSE,which has been in existence since 2000.

The ISSE is a body of structural engineers from all over the country which provides updated knowledge and an advisory body to frame regulations in conjunction with state and central governments related to structural engineering.

Speaking after his election,Inamdar said the local chapter will start a dialogue with the Pune Municipal Corporation in relation to structural engineering and also organise various symposiums and workshops in the coming year.
