IASAP picks five finalists at its contest

THE Indian Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals, (IASAP), Pune chapter recently organised the 15th “Secretary & Administrative Professional Contest” (SAPC) – an event held once in every two years.

SAPC is held on a league basis which commences with a written test, followed by group discussion and personal interview prior to the finale. “Five finalists were shortlisted who underwent the extempore speech on different topics given to them,” stated Jasmine Jogi, vice-chairperson, IASAP Pune Chapter.

The juries from public and private sector selected three finalists. Juhi Sadhwani from Air Dynamics Group bagged the winner title whereas Raina Dubey from Finolex Industries Ltd was declared the first runner up and Preeta Venugopal from Bekaert Industries Pvt Ltd emerged as second runner up.

The first two regional winners will now vie for the “All India Winner” title at national level which will be held in Hyderabad on September 19, stated Jogi.

The “All India Winner” will further contest with winners of 14 Asian countries for the post of the “International Winner of the Year”, which will be held in Philippines in September 2016.

“The contest encompassed a round of quizzes and lucky draws including dance performance for viewers. The audience comprised of Secretaries, Administrative Professionals, their bosses and sponsors from various corporates,” stated Lata Khedkar, chairperson.
