To generate awareness about natural and cultural heritage,Janwani-MCCI is celebrating Virasat Pune Heritage Week from April 15 to 22. Around 70 events will be organised across 21 venues in the city. Institutions like Belbaug Mandir,Bharat Itihas Sanshodhak Mandal,National Films Archive of India,Film & Television Institute of India,Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad,SNDT,Deccan College,Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum along with other museums in Pune,Art India Foundation and Aranyavaak will host activities. Day long talks will be held on April 18 at Seminar Hall,TMV,Sadashiv Peth. The lectures include a talk on Pompeii and Herculaneum,Harappan Sites in India,lesser known heritage sites in and around Pune,natural heritage in and around Pune and archaeological heritage seen and unknown.
