Ganpati Bappa Morya

There was a huge turnout on Ganesh Chaturthi,the first day of the 10-day Ganpati festival in Pune city,sending danger signals among the civic officials who have their hands full fighting the swine flu spread. The Pune Municipal Corporation had earlier appealed to people to avoid crowding during the festival to keep the disease at bay,but enthusiastic Ganesh devotees thronged the streets on the first day of the festival.
