Easy win for Tikona Digital in inter-IT cricket

Tikona Digital Networks defeated Imagination Tehcnologies by nine wickets in the round robin match of the Clash Of 24 inter-IT cricket tournament organised by the Maharashtra Krida at the ammunition factory cricket ground here on Sunday.

Imagination Technologies won the toss and elected to bat first. They put up a decent total of 185 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 25 overs.

Sunil Nambiar played a brilliant knock to boost his team’s total. His unbeaten 107 came off 74 balls and was filled with magnificent stroke play. Mayuresh Khanolkar supported him well with a quick fire 38.

For Tikona,Sachin Chordiya picked up two crucial wickets and pegged back the opposition. In reply,Tikona Digital Networks achieved their target with nine wickets and 6.3 overs to spare.

Bryan Nanwar was the star performer of the day,scoring a fine century. His 114 runs came off just 55 deliveries. Ameet Tare supported him well by scoring an unbeaten 40 off 37 balls. Bryan Nanwar won the man of the match award, said a press note.
