‘Don’t rush to collectorate,use other CFCs for certificates

The district administration has urged students and parents making a beeline for the collectorate for domicile and other certificates have urged them to make use of other citizen facilitation centres (CFCs) across the city. Even with camps conducted at various schools and colleges,the CFC at the collectorate is seeing a lot of rush. “We conducted several drives and we urge citizens to collect the certificates from the other centres and not rush to the collectorate. This will only put unnecessary burden on one centre,” said Jayashree Katare,sub divisional officer of Haveli and incharge of the CFC. She said that there were four camps conducted and nearly all schools were covered in the drive. When asked about the recent rush at collectorate CFC,she explained that parents want certificates in a day’s time. “It is bound to take at least three to four days and parents have to give the concerned officer time for necessary signatures,” she said. She added that there were 46 maha e-sewa kendras across the district and there are main four centres and citizens can avail of the same at these centres. The names of the offices are available with the SDO (Haveli) office.
