Desai hat-trick ensures Symantec victory

A similar scoreline was achieved by Wipro,who rode on Newton Pereira’s brace to beat LSI Logic. Pereira scored in the 10th minute,following which Atul Rana made it 2-0 in the 18th. Two more goals from Jose Joseph and Eugene Paul quickly turned it into a one-sided match in Wipro’s favour by the 42nd minute. Pereira then doubled his tally in the 49th minute as his team recorded a 5-0 whitewash over their opponents.

Tech Mahindra managed to secure a victory over their opponents KPIT Cummins Infosystems in spite of being a man-down for part of the match following the sending-off of Anand Joshi. Nikhil Bhole opened the scoring in the 4th minute,with Chanden Deshpande and James Mendonza adding two more in the 20th and 38th minute respectively to complete a 3-0 win for Tech Mahindra.

Deendayal Goyal and Rohit Dwivedi produced a brace each to help their team Symphony Services to a convincing 4-0 victory over Accenture. Goyal scored in the 7th and 45th minute,while Dwivedi found the net in the 12th and 34th minute.

Capgemini was one of the other teams to taste victory,beating Cybage Software 2-0 thanks to goals from Jasan Joshi and Abir Basu.

Starent-Marvell,on the other hand,were not so lucky,only managing a tame goalless draw against SAS Research & Development. The match between Cognizant and TCS also ended 0-0.
