Shinde announced that the institute will get funds from the

Centre. Principal of the Institute Commandant Jamal Khan, said,“We have developed exact replicas of the IEDs used in Pune’s J M Road blast,German Bakery blast,Samjhauta Express blast,Delhi High Court blast and the replicas of IEDs used in Boston attack.”

He added,“As part of the training,we form different groups of the teams that visit us. One of the groups construct the IEDs and the other disposes it. We have also re-constructed the IEDs used in the Naxal-affected areas.”
