Cop molested,six held

A woman police constable was allegedly molested by a group of six who are relatives and friends of two persons arrested. The group created a ruckus at Kondhwa police station demanding the release of the two.

The incident took place at 10.30 pm on Sunday when six persons barged into Kondhwa police station where two persons ¿ a father and son – were in custody in a case of alleged domestic violence. Senior inspector Pandharinath Mandhare of Kondhwa police station said,“These people started demanding the release of the two persons. They started threatening the staffers and started shouting. They molested a woman police staffer and threatened her. One of them poured kerosene on himself and others and threatened to set fire.”

Police have arrested the six persons.
