Panchkula crime: Killer servant unverified

Panchukla: The police have said that no verification of the killer servant Akhilesh was done. On Saturday night,Akhilesh allegedly killed Shanti Devi,mother of Praveen Kumar,and injured daughter-in-law Isha and grand-daughters Garima and Pratibha. Akhilesh was engaged at Praveen Kumars house after he was recommended by one of his relatives,who has been employed at Ishas parents house for past 15 years. Akhilesh is still at large and no motive has been established behind the crime.

Several key posts in UT still vacant

Vhandigarh: Several kep posts from municipal commissioner to senior superintendent of police (Traffic) have not been filled by UT Administration. Despited repeated reminders to Punjab and Haryana,the state governments have not sent panel of candidates who could be appointed to these vital positions.
