The great Gambler
Kamya Punjabi,who plays Uttara in Maryada,has recently revealed that she is a closet gambler. The actress who was in Macau for the Star Parivar Awards just couldnt stop gambling. She says,I love gambling,and I can do it all night long. I may not win but I love exploring all the casinos and try my luck. We can only offer the actress one piece of advice: dont try Russian roulette.
Two of a Kind
Ishita Vyas,who got the part of Jhalkari Bai in Zees hit show Jhansi Ki Rani almost made everyones jaws drop due to her uncanny similarity to the main protagonist played by Kratika Sengar. The new promos for the show highlight the entry of this new character. Sengar says,Ishitas looks are very similar to mine and some of the crew workers mistook her for the real queen. Looks like theres double trouble in store for the cast and the crew.
Cliché Alert
Popular actress Priya Bhatija will appear as the meek and docile Sudha in Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo. Sudha is yet another female character on television who is always a victim of her husbands moods. But she finds solace in her husbands friend Murli,who finally helps her leave the unhappy marriage behind. This is probably the zillionth time an actress is playing a victim on television. We hope Bhatija has the scope to be more than just another brick in the wall.
Bitter Chocolate
TELEVISIONS chocolate boy Angad Hasija will soon be seen in a completely different avatar. He will be playing a village dude with a whole lot of attitude and shades of grey in the hit show Phulwa,on Colors. Now,thats what is called a sweet transition from being amiable to flamable. The character attracted me,as it is very different and something which I have never done before, he says. Weve heard that line before.
